RE: A/C not coming on after low amps incident

Most likely (if you are lucky) the low voltage took out the start and/or run capacitor on the ac. These are inexpensive... hope they protected your compressor from being ruined.

RE: Vibration at highway speed?

Feeling it in the back of the seat normally suggest rear wheel/tire problems. If they were balanced, it could be out of round tires or one or more warped wheels. A good tire shop can check for both.

RE: Trailer Brake Safety Pin Popped, What Now?

push it back in.... some require a hard push... make sure you have the grooves in the pin aligned with the grooves in the switch.

RE: Has anyone had Lazy Days deliver your new motorhome to you ?

I agree with everyone else.... fly down, inspect the coach, make them repair everything you find and then drive it back.
In addition.... you can buy it cheaper than their "internet price"

RE: Winterize: Antifreeze vs. blow the lines?

RV antifreeze are basically Propylene Glycol, not methanol based. However, I use the blow out method. Its easy and quick and like you said when its time to hit the road, just add water and go.

RE: I let my battery water get low. Are they toast?

After charging, check the cells with a hydrometer... it will tell you if each cell is good or bad.

RE: supplemental medical insurance

Read and ask questions... especially about the cost. We bought my mother a Blue/Cross supplemental plan and the coverage was great.... it picked up and paid in full anything medicare didn't. No drug coverage though. The problem was that when mom turned 65 it was very affordable.... then each year the rates escalate. My mother just died this month at the age of 91. The premiums had escaleted to $2,200 per year. At one time we were thinking about dropping it, but we didn't. In mom's last two years she had some falls and had to spend 100 days in skilled re-hab facilites. They paid over $10,000 out on both occasions.
Good luck and good health.

Not just your area... here in the S.E. travel was significantly down. On I-75 I have noticed a big decline in Class A's especially....... just too expensive to travel far.

RE: Weird Elec Problem

Your inverter is NOT working. For some unknown reason, Monaco/HR has all the outlets in the front section of the coach pass thru the inverter even though you are on shore power. First, check the three pop out fuses on the inverter. One is for incoming and two are for outgoing power to the outlets. Push them back in if popped out. If ok, manually try to start the inverter. There is a small button on the back below the little green LED. Hold it down until the green light flickers. See if inverter is on? If not on, you may want to unplug and replug the telephone type cable going into the back of the inverter. If you get a reading of "internal Fault" your inverter is definitely bad. A re-built one from Magnum will run about $1,400. I'm on my third 2012. good luck.
